All classes and consultations take place in your home. There is nothing more daunting than those first trips out of the house with a newborn or during the last few weeks of pregnancy, so let’s take that stressor off the table. Relax! There is no need to tidy up or prepare for the visit.

As early as you’d like! For me, the questions started the moment I found out I was expecting. So, if that’s the case for you, starting with a free 15-minute consultation to create a timeline is a great first step.
Weeks 28-34 of pregnancy are ideal so that information is fresh in your mind for delivery. With the purchase of any class, you get a complimentary refresher in the days before delivery if desired. The first lactation visit should ideally occur during the first week at home with your little one.

Depending on the class, you’ll receive a questionnaire a few days prior that will help optimize our time together. It’s also good to gather all your questions prior to the visit. I’m here to answer them all!
Don’t worry if questions pop up after the visit. You can always contact me with follow up questions related to class content. Most classes take about an hour and I will provide plenty of time for questions.

Most lactation consults including the prenatal class are covered by insurance. I work with and insurance billing company called The Lactation Network that processes billing directly with your insurance company.
Some insurance plans do not work with The Lactation Network. If your insurance company does not work with them, you will need to pay out of pocket and submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.
It is highly recommended that you reach out to your insurance company and confirm your benefits before the consult.

I serve the Denver metro area for in-home visits. If you are outside of this area, please contact me and we can explore other options.
