New Parent Class FAQs

I’ve already installed my car seat but I want it double checked for safety. Should I still book a class?

Definitely! During the installation, we discuss proper infant positioning, state laws for car seat safety, and transitions to the following stages of seats. There’s a lot more to car seat installation than the manual or YouTube can tell you!

I’ve taken a CPR class before, so I’m just looking for a refresher. Will the CPR class be helpful?

Absolutely! My class focuses specifically on infant and child, which allows us to go into detail about the skills and make sure you feel fully confident in your practice. It is also recommended to take the class around 6-months of age when solids are introduced.

How do I prepare for the class?

No preparation necessary. If you already have your breast pump you can have that handy for the lactation so we can walk through the parts and how to use it. Having a notepad to take notes is also helpful!

Who can attend the classes?

Parents, grandparents, nannies, siblings. If you would like to do the class with friends who are also expecting, each family will pay to take the course, but at a discounted price. Contact Bre for more details.
